Pre-Bid Meeting: 2:30 pm on Thursday, 24 APRIL 2025 in the Meeting Room of the Carbondale Public Library, 405 West Main Street, Carbondale, Illinois 62901-2995.

Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be publicly opened, read aloud and taken under advisement. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.

Project Description: BASE BID

Work consists of selective demolition and replacement of the existing membrane roofing system, repair of existing interior inverted skylight, and selective demolition and replacement of designated HVAC equipment. Electrical work commensurate with HVAC replacement is also included in the Base Bid.

Project Description: ALTERNATE BIDS

Alternate Bid G-1: Provide all demolition and new construction for replacement of designated roofing system with new PVC membrane roofing.

Alternate Bid G-2: Fluid Cooler replacement, including disconnect and reconnect to electrical feeds.

Alternate Bid G-3: Electric Boiler replacement, including disconnect and reconnect to electrical feeds.
